The OV5647 CMOS sensor is a flexible imaging solution designed for both photos and video. It features a 2592 x 1944 active array that captures detailed 5MP images.

For video, it supports 1080P at 30fps, 720P at 60fps, and VGA at 90fps. This range makes it useful for applications from mobile cameras to surveillance systems.

Its 1.4um pixel size ensures good sensitivity. The sensor also supports RAW data formats, giving integrators more freedom for image tuning. With low standby power and compact packaging, the OV5647 works well in portable and embedded devices.
